At Southside, we believe that giving in the form of our time through volunteering, talents through service, and treasures through tithes and offerings is an important part of the Christian life.

By specifically giving through tithes and offerings, we display several key truths. We do it because God commands us to do so (Deuteronomy 14:22), it shows that we love the Lord, and that we trust God to provide for us.

Tithes and offerings are an important part of Christianity because, by giving, we put our love for God over our love for money. Giving also supports us here at Southside as we work to spread the Gospel and to teach Scripture each week!
